These lanterns are much more than just a party accessory.

They are environmentally friendly and contain no wire.

Made from thick, fire-resistant rice paper, with a bamboo frame, rope, and a wooden and vegetable wax candle for ignition, they are completely biodegradable.

No waste falls to the ground, as they do not have a metal frame.

In Asia, the use of floating lanterns is very ancient. It is customary to make a wish or write a message directly on the lantern when releasing it. It is even said to be lucky. Flying these hot air balloons will always be a moment of exception.

The paper hot air balloon measures approximately 90 cm in height and 60 cm in width. The flying lanterns are delivered to you in a protective cardboard packaging with instructions for use in French. You can use them immediately; they are ready to use.

Our lanterns comply with the CE standard for this purpose:

• The structure is made of bamboo and contains no metal parts
• The burner is made of solid wood composite, not wax
• The volume of the flying lantern is less than 50 dm3
• The Chinese lantern does not have any reflective parts that could interfere with air traffic.

1. Read the safety and usage instructions carefully.
2. Gently remove the lantern from its packaging.
3. Unfold the

   sides delicately to avoid tearing the fabric, gently swinging from side to side so that air enters the opening.

4. Light the 4 sides of the burner with a lighter to ignite it properly.
5. We recommend working as a team: one person unfolds the lantern and keeps it upright while the other below lights the fuel soap.
6. BE PATIENT!!! Wait for the igniter to burn long enough: the lantern fabric must be fully stretched by the hot air (between 1 and 2 minutes in autumn).
7. You can release the lantern and let it take off 😀.
