The TellementHappy biodegradable lanterns have been manufactured to the highest quality standards.

The rice paper is twice as thick to avoid any risk of tearing, and the burner contains no wax that can flow and burn.

Everything has been done to ensure you enjoy an exceptional moment.

 

 

Preparations Before Launch

Choice of Day and Weather Conditions: Opt for a day without wind or rain. This ensures safety and good flight of the lanterns.

Selection of Launch Space:

Choose a clear area, far from trees, buildings, and power lines. Lanterns do not always rise vertically.

Checking Local Rules:

Make sure to comply with local regulations regarding the release of flying lanterns. Some areas, especially near airports or nature reserves, may have restrictions.

Using TellementHappy Lanterns

TellementHappy lanterns are 100% biodegradable, made with thick rice paper and without a metal frame to ensure durability and safety.

Before lighting the lantern, make sure it is gently unfolded and that the burner is properly fixed. The burner is mobile; ensure it is well centered before lighting the lantern.

Be patient when lighting and light the burner at all 4 corners. It may take 1 to 2 minutes for the lantern to be ready to fly, as the hot air needs time to fully expand the fabric.

 

Safety Instructions Child Supervision:

Children must be supervised when handling the lanterns.

Precautions with Fire:

Keep a fire extinguisher or a bucket of water handy in case of an incident.

 

Environmental Respect:

 

Only use biodegradable lanterns to minimize ecological impact. Our lanterns are designed to burn completely in flight. One of the wires holding the burner breaks first and projects the flame onto the lantern’s structure.

In the worst case, the lantern extinguishes and falls to the ground where the rice paper and bamboo composing it will degrade.

 

Launching the Lantern

 

When the lantern is ready, gently release it and let it rise into the sky. It’s a magical moment, ideal for capturing in photos or videos.
